WHEN his country came calling, Luke Jongwe felt he had no choice but to ignore it.
Instead of accepting Zimbabwe’s call-up for their triseries against Australia and Pakistan in July, the all-rounder chose to stay at Morecambe as their overseas player.
Jongwe, who committed to a stint at the Northern Premier League side last summer before switching to Bovey Tracey in the Devon Premier League, couldn’t bring himself to let them down again.
