Middlesex look to Barnet as a Lord’s overflow

MIDDLESEX have unveiled plans to build a new outground in Barnet.
The club’s managing director of cricket Angus Fraser believes that the move makes sense due to the amount or cricket that is being played at Lord’s.
Middlesex will play games at Radlett, Uxbridge, Merchant Taylors’ School and Richmond this season when Lord’s is unavailable.
Fraser said: “Middlesex have always had a dream vision of a home away from Lord’s. Getting this new ground will suddenly give us greater control.
