Middlesex showing faith in young Tom’s potential

HAVING proved his fitness with five County Championship appearances last year, Tom Helm has been rewarded with a contract extension at Middlesex.
Bowler Helm, 23, saw his 2015 and 2016 seasons restricted by serious injury, but bounced back last term with 19 wickets in his five games. In his maiden appearance for the club, Helm picked up 5-72 against Yorkshire at Headingley in September 2013.
