Murtagh aiming to make amends

HAVING come so close to making next year’s World Cup, Ireland are determined to put in a performance for their historic first Test against Pakistan, according to seamer Tim Murtagh.
The Irish will welcome Pakistan to Malahide a week today, with Murtagh set to be a key member of the bowling attack.
And having missed out on a place at the 2019 World Cup thanks to a heart-breaking loss in the Qualifying Tournament in Zimbabwe, Murtagh is keen to show that Ireland deserve their place among the game’s top nations.
