Joe Burns switches allegiance to Italy
FORMER Australia Test opener Joe Burns has announced he will now represent Italy as a tribute to his late brother.
Burns played 23 Tests for Australia and is eligible to represent the Italian national side thanks to his mother’s heritage. He made the decision following his brother Dominic’s passing in February this year.
