Lashings All Stars will take on a Uganda Children’s Trust Fund XI this month with all funds going to the charity.
The Uganda Children’s Trust Fund (UCTF) offers underprivileged Ugandan children the chance to succeed in education, in sport and in life, and players including Monty Panesar, John Emburey and Tino Best will all feature in the game.
Two T20 matches will be played on Sunday May 28 at Wormsley with Test Match Special commentator Daniel Norcross on the mic.
Hospitality tickets (£60) include tea and coffee on arrival, an informal BBQ lunch with wine and afternoon tea and the opportunity to participate in our auction. VIP tickets (£100) will also include a Pimms reception and access to the Walled Gardens and Library at the estate. Ground entry only tickets start from £10.
All proceeds go to UCTF and Lashings said: “We believe the combination of a good academic education, the opportunity to play and enjoy sport, and the chance to develop the right vocational or entrepreneurial skills will provide vulnerable children from Uganda’s poorest communities the chance to succeed in life.
“Their future economic security will provide a means to lift their families and communities out of poverty, thus creating positive, and long-lasting, social change.”
Tickets start at £10, to book please contact: Linda Soames: linda@uctf.org or access them directly here
