Future looks bright as Headingley gets much-needed cash

YORKSHIRE chief executive Mark Arthur was unequivocal: without the £35m funding plan agreed this week, it was the end of Test cricket at Headingley.

So now the historic ground’s future has been secured, Arthur is convinced the county will finally have a stadium befitting their status.
