Tributes in for double champion

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE’S twotime County Championship winner Mike Bore has died at the age of 69.
Left-arm bowler Bore was part of Notts’ Championshipwinning sides of 1981 and 1987 and finished his career, which also included a spell with Yorkshire, with 372 wickets in 159 first-class games.
Bore was a key foil for pace bowlers Clive Rice and Richard Hadlee at Trent Bridge as he captured 139 wickets in 147 career List A appearances. After retiring from playing, Bore became a popular coach, mainly at youth level, and operated at the Yorkshire indoor school.
