Career switch: Graeme Cessford
FOR someone in his early 30s, Graeme Cessford has crammed a fair bit in. He was an RAF corporal when Worcestershire offered him a contract in 2013 following a brief spell in the county’s 2nd XI the previous summer.
After being granted elite athete status by the services, Cessford was handed a two-year sabbatical to see if he could fly in the county game. For the then 29- year-old, it was an opportunity that was too good to turn down.
