Tamim exit not due to hate crimes

TAMIM Iqbal has cut short his stay at Essex, though denied reports that his departure is due to a ‘hate crime’ against his family.
The Bangladesh opener has left Chelmsford after just one match in the T20 Blast with some media reporting that Tamim’s wife was the victim of an attempted acid attack.
However the batsman, 28, announced on his Facebook page that his decision to return home is purely for “personal reasons”.
