THE Ashes look set to go ahead with a deal agreed ‘in principle’ by Australia’s players to resolve a long-running pay dispute.
This winter’s series looked to be in danger with Australia A’s tour of South Africa in July cancelled amid the row over the scrapping of a revenue-sharing model.
But now Cricket Australia have said a deal has been struck with the Australian Cricketers’ Association (ACA) and the Test tour of Bangladesh starting later this month is now expected to go ahead.
