CHAMPIONSHIP winner Jamie Porter has filled his mantelpiece this week, the Essex bowler picking up awards from both the PCA and the Cricket Writers Club (CWC).
Porter, who claimed 75 Championship scalps this season, was named player of the year by the CWC at their annual lunch on Tuesday, while he followed that up by being named young player of 2017 at the PCA event the following evening.
