SUSSEX have to stop looking back to their golden era if they are to return to the summit of the English game according to Rob Andrew – dampening speculation that Chris Adams could take over from Mark Davis as head coach.
Following Davis’ departure at the end of the season, Adams emerged as the leading candidate to take the reins at the county where he skippered three County Championshipwinning sides and was named a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 2004.
