BENNY Howell has spent most of this winter kicking his heels – now he’s hoping that a winter of frustration can help him kick-start Gloucestershire’s campaign to become a force once again in the short-form game.
Howell spent six weeks at the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) but only played a single game for a Khulna Titans side that also featured Jofra Archer. He then travelled to stay with family in Australia in the hope of a call-up for the Big Bash as a reserve. That also proved fruitless.
