ED COWAN has always been one of the game’s great thinkers – and now he has brought himself plenty of pondering time.
The immensely likeable and popular New South Wales and Australia opener hung his blue cap up for a final time earlier this month to make way for the ‘next Steve Smith’ to come through the SCG ranks. The reality was somewhat different.
