CALLUM FERGUSON has enjoyed quite some entry into this season’s Royal London Cup – but it wouldn’t have been possible without an impromptu visit to Amsterdam.
Ferguson scored 192 in his first innings for Worcester and then added to that tally with 159 not out against Northants just five days later.
They’re the sort of 50-over scores of which dreams are made. But his entry into the English First-Class game was the stuff of nightmares, thanks to Home Office red tape.
