NEW Derbyshire fast bowler Lockie Ferguson has set his sights on matching the speeds of Michael Holding in the 1980s after signing a deal at the County Ground. The Kiwi fast bowler will join for the t20 Blast as Derbyshire look to build on last season’s efforts where they made it to the knockout stages for the first time in 12 years and only the second time in their history. That was under the tutelage of t20 coach John Wright, the New Zealander who was in Derby at the same time as Holding, the legendary West Indian fast bowler.
