HEREFORDSHIRE allrounder Peter Burgoyne is developing a second career in sport as a darts player.
Burgoyne took up darts for fun while with Derbyshire but has now progressed to county and semiprofessional standard.
The 24-year-old former England U19 international spends his winters playing in tournaments organised by the British Darts Organisation at home and in Europe where he won the Latvia Open men’s pairs with Dale Gadsby, of Nottingham, last October.
