MATT Critchley spent the winter honing his trade in Sydney alongside new England call-up Ollie Pope – now the Derbyshire allrounder has set his sights on matching the Surrey
youngster.
Critchley was one of four promising players who spent the winter in Sydney as part of the ECB’s Overseas Placement programme alongside Pope, Lancashire’s Matt Parkinson and Sussex’s Delray Rawlins.
