YORKSHIRE’S new pace bowler Duanne Olivier has admitted that it was a huge decision for him to turn his back on playing for South Africa.
Olivier, 26, has signed a three-year Kolpak deal at Headingley meaning he can’t play international cricket again until that contract expires.
“I would be lying if I said this wasn’t a difficult decision to make,” he said. “It’s giving up playing for my country with no guarantees of playing international cricket again.
