SEVERE flooding has forced Worcestershire into a frantic search for a new home this week –and head groundsman Tim Packwood admits it’s a relief to have an alternative of the calibre of Kidderminster up the road.
The images of New Road were spectacular with the stadium submerged under three feet of water after the River Severn broke its banks, leaving Worcestershire needing to find a new venue for their Division Two clash with Sussex.
