HE might be calling it a day but Somerset’s Marcus Trescothick showed he still has what it takes with two half-centuries against Gloucestershire in the Second XI Championship.
The left-hander, who retires at the end of the season, made 53 in his first innings and then returned with 90 from 106 balls, with 18 fours, in the run chase to guide his team home by nine wickets.
