IAN Bell’s season to forget has come to a premature end at Warwickshire.
Bell, who missed the first three months of the season with a toe problem, has had to call a halt to his campaign with a knee injury that he suffered playing a Second XI match last month.
Warwickshire’s sport director Paul Farbrace said: “It’s extremely frustrating for us, and for Ian, that another injury has happened when he was extremely close to a first team return.
