OFF-SPINNER Jack Shutt, who made such a promising first team debut for Yorkshire against Lancashire in the Vitality Blast last week, could find himself playing a lot more following serious injury blows to two of the county’s other spinners.
Leggie Josh Poysden, who won’t play again this season after being struck on the head by a ball, and slow left armer, James Logan, will miss the rest of the summer because of a stress fracture in his back.
Shutt, 22, took 2-31 in his four overs during which he dismissed Steve Croft and Liam Livingstone in his first 11 balls.
