THERE were some definite upsides to lockdown – despite the parlous state of the national summer sport over the past four months. Just ask Chris Dent, the Gloucestershire captain. Back in April, he should have been leading his county in their first Division One campaign since 2004. As it was, he was kicking his heels at home and wondering if there was going to be any cricket at all this summer.
