YORKSHIRE’S South African fast bowler, Duanne Olivier, 28, should by now be enjoying his second full season at Headingley; instead Covid-19 and the severe restrictions imposed mean it is almost 12 months since he last played firstclass cricket.
Understandably, therefore, Olivier, who gave up a promising Test career to sign a three-year deal with Yorkshire in February last year, is impatient and bursting with eagerness to make a big impact in this short season.
