BEING talked about as a future England prospect can weigh heavily on some players – but not Northamptonshire’s Ricardo Vasconcelos.
The 23-year-old batsman is happy to take his time, despite his natural stroke play and penchant for big hundreds which have already earned him plenty of plaudits.
County head coach David Ripley believes the South African-born opener – who averages 70 after hitting two scores of more than 150 this season – can go on to win international honours with England.
