SUSSEX have vowed to support and educate Ollie Robinson after his suspension from Test cricket for historical offensive tweets.
The 27-year-old pace bowler’s otherwise impressive debut against New Zealand at Lord’s was marred by the revelation of racist and sexist messages sent when he was a teenager.
The Sussex player is unavailable for his country pending a decision on his punishment but was not suspended from county duty. However, Robinson sat out the Sharks’ opening two games in the Vitality Blast to spend time with his family.
