Eriksen’s scare shows your club needs a defib

THE collapse of Denmark’s Christian Eriksen in Euro 2020 has again focused minds around the world on the importance of defibrillators at sporting venues, from major stadiums to the humble village green.
Medics have been rightly praised for the lightning response which, ultimately, saved the life of the Denmark and Inter Milan star. The events, though, should have served as a sharp jolt to those clubs across all sports that don’t currently possess a device which could, one day, save a life.
