A TILT at the Claret Jug may have eluded Peter Trego this year but the Nottinghamshire all-rounder says he will be back for more as he looks to battle on multiple sporting fronts.
The 40-year-old was one of more than 1,000 players attempting to make it through to The 149th Open, which takes place at Royal St George’s later this month, but a six-over-par round of 78 at Hollinwell last Sunday was not enough to see him past the Regional Qualifying stage.
