ALICE Capsey may have missed out on sitting her GCSEs this summer, but the Oval Invincibles’ star has already passed her toughest sporting examination with flying colours.
The 16-year-old is the youngest player at this year’s Hundred but looked as though she had been playing at the highest level for years when she strode out at Lord’s last Sunday and proceeded to play an innings of 59 from 41 balls that will remain in the minds of those who witnessed it for a long time.
As entrances go it was emphatic. And suggested that Capsey has what it takes ...
