THE eyes of the cricket world are on Yorkshire, not just for the Test that starts at Headingley on Wednesday, but awaiting the the publication of a report into claims of racism at the club.
An investigation lasting a year was launched after allegations by Azeem Rafiq –a former Yorkshire player and captain – of institutional racism from 2008 to 2018.
It concluded that “several of the allegations made were upheld” and that he had been “historically… the victim of inappropriate behaviour”.
