SUSSEX all-rounder George Garton has signed a deal to play in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Garton will link-up with Bangalore after the T20 Blast Finals Day on September 18.
It means he will miss Sussex’s last County Championship game of the season against Derbyshire.
Garton has 19 wickets in the short-format this season – ten in The Hundred for Southern Brave and nine in the T20 Blast.
The IPL resumes in the UAE on September 19 after being halted in May due to the coronavirus crisis.
