Lovely bubbly: Berkshire celebrate winning the National Counties Trophy after beating Cumbria at Wormsley
BERKSHIRE added to their bulging trophy cabinet by winning the National Counties Trophy for the sixth time with a record-breaking 151-run victory over Cumbria at Wormsley on Thursday.
It was Berkshire’s eighth piece of silverware in five seasons – no competitive cricket was played in 2020 owing to COVID-19 – and maintained their record of having won at least competition a season since 2015.
