Dawid Malan ends England career to focus on franchise cricket

Dawid Malan said that he definitely wants to continue playing franchise and county cricket after he announced his retirement from the international game last month.
Making his announcement on 28 August, he said: “Definitely. I still want to play. I’d like to play for Yorkshire for as long as I can contribute and in as many franchise tournaments as I can around the world.”
He was not selected as an overseas draft pick in last Sunday’s Big Bash League draft, the competition starting on 15 December.
