Marcus Trescothick excited about young talent

Marcus Trescothick is hopeful that a balance can be found to ensure the future of the county game and the success of the national team.
England’s interim white ball coach spent his entire career at Somerset and was a fixture at Taunton from his debut in 1993 until he finally hung up his batting gloves in 2019.
During that time both domestic and international cricket changed in ways he could never have imagined.
Now, though, he’s hoping that the sport’s ongoing revolution is a bloodless one – and one that enables counties to continue to flourish.
