An events and experience company in the UK is offering a ‘Play With A Cricket Legend’ package; a once-in-a-lifetime experience to play cricket and have a beer with cricket legends including Ryan Sidebottom, Darren Gough and Gladstone Small.
Chillisauce.co.uk, a specialist events company that offers stag dos, hen parties, activity weekends and corporate events, has once again teamed up with Play With A Legend, in partnership with the Professional Cricketers Association (PCA), to give cricket fans the opportunity to play cricket with their heroes.
Supporters can choose from some of England’s most famous cricket names who they could wish to play with, at a variety of venues around the country, as well as whether they’d like to have an indoor 20/20 or a full scale game. A batting/bowling masterclass can be included to get some professional tips. The package also includes a team photo and drinks in the bar afterwards with the cricket legends, which will be the perfect time to hear about their best stories and share laughs.
There are more than 20 current and former professional cricketers to pick from, including former England stars Devon Malcolm, Paul Nixon, Alex Tudor, Matthew Hoggard, Anthony McGrath and Geraint Jones, with more set to join.
Participants are simply required to turn up, with all parts of the activity arranged for them, from the venue and referee through to the pub afterwards. Packages start from £60 per person, with costs varying depending on how many are in attendance, which legends are booked and the chosen venue.
