WORCESTERSHIRE have made a habit of bouncing back to the top flight quickly in recent years, but in 2016 they missed out.
Finishing third in Division Two may not seem a disaster but it marked a change of the guard.
Out has gone Daryl Mitchell as skipper – somewhat acrimoniously at first – and in comes star all-rounder Joe Leach to lead the side.
Mitchell will remain at the top of the order, however, and with the heartwarming return of Tom Fell, the potential of Tom Kohler Cadmore and the star attraction that is Joe Clarke, there is plenty of firepower on show.
