WORCESTERSHIRE’S firstteam coach Alex Gidman is banking on New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill being a big hit at New Road again after he signed up for their T20 Vitality campaign.
The Kiwi opener helped Worcestershire to lift the trophy last season.
He will be able to play in 11 of their group games and will also be available for the quarter final and finals day should Worcestershire get that far. Gushing Gidman said: “It is a huge confidence boost and we are chuffed he is coming back.
