IN THE wake of significantly blusterous winds of change, Derbyshire are hoping that they’ve conjured up the requisite stability to form the bedrock of a Division Two promotion push.
Late last year, David Houghton arrived as head of cricket – the former Zimbabwe Test batsman beginning his third spell at the County Ground – and soon, former MCC coach Steve Kirby joined as assistant and bowling coach, with Dominic Cork also coming in to head up their t20 Blast endeavours.
