AFTER successive hundreds in the opening two rounds of the County Championship, it was no surprise that Gary Ballance transferred his outstanding form to the Royal London Cup on Wednesday and scored another against Leicestershire.
And, in reality, there was no reason for it to have been. After all, Ballance, who played the last of his 23 Tests against South Africa in July 2017, finished last season prolifically, too, scoring 194 and then 60 in the final Championship game at Worcester.
