ADAM Lyth’s productive form so far in the opening rounds of the County Championship for Yorkshire – 538 runs at a healthy average of nearly 60.00 – has been rewarded by England’s head coach Chris Silverwood.
The 33-year-old left hander, who has scored fine hundreds against Glamorgan and Kent, has been named as a reserve for the series against New Zealand starting the week after next.
