In October last year, Nathan Sowter wondered if he would ever play professional cricket again having been without a county contract. Eight months on, he is the leading wicket-taker in this year’s T20 Blast and closing in on 100 T20 wickets.
“I’m just a bit shellshocked,” the Durham leg-spinner told TCP when informed of the milestone. “At the start of my career, I was just happy to play a game. To get 100 T20 wickets, I am certainly quite proud of it.”
