Quinn out for season

ESSEX will be without the services of Matt Quinn for the rest of 2017 after the bowler was ruled out of the last few months of the season due to a persistent back problem.
Quinn, 24, has played three County Championship matches this season but is due to go under the knife next week with the hope that he will be fit for the start of the 2018 campaign.
The New Zealander, who represented his country at U19 level, joined Essex in 2015, though he has a UK passport. He has picked up 101 first-class wickets in his career, including career-best 7-76 against Gloucestershire last season.
