ED Barnard believes that it won’t be long before Worcestershire find their rhythm with the bat and make their mark in Division One again.
Last season’s Division Two champions sealed a return to the top tier of the County Championship for the first time since 2015 but have made a struggling start to life back in the big time.
Barnard and co have suffered defeat at the hands of Hampshire, Somerset and Nottinghamshire – the latter by an innings – in their opening three games and have passed the 200-run barrier just once in six spells at the crease.
