Fireworks from Jos can’t save the Royals

ENGLAND wicketkeeper Jos Buttler’s extraordinary 18-ball half-century proved to be in vain, as his Rajasthan Royals side were defeated by Delhi Daredevils by four runs in a rain-affected contest on Wednesday.
The result – just their third win of the season – lifted the Daredevils off the bottom of the table and above their opponents on net run-rate.
The hosts were flying along on 196-6, with their ’keeper Rishabh Pant hammering 69 off just 29 balls when rain brought a premature end to their innings in the 18th over.
