Ollie comes to forefront but time running out for Pears

THERE’S no hiding it’s been a difficult season for Worcestershire in Division One but the emergence of Ollie Westbury has been a salutary tale for head coach Kevin Sharp.
The Pears are staring down the barrel of relegation in their first season back in the top flight, cut 36 points adrift of safety ahead of their penultimate four-day fixture.
But Westbury, 21, is fast following the feats of bright young seamers Josh Tongue, Dillon Pennington and Patrick Brown and looks like the next cab off the rank in the West Midlands.
