Lace is the ace for dogged Derbyshire

TOM Lace steadied the ship for Derbyshire as they look to make it two wins from two at the start of the new season against Gloucestershire.
The 20-year-old outshone his older team-mates as he made a wonderful 83 off 127 balls to anchor the innings on a difficult batting day for his side.
Gloucestershire made a reckless start as skipper Billy Godleman (7) continued his slow start to the summer.
The opener, who was dismissed by the excellent Ryan Higgins, has now amassed just 45 runs in three innings this season.
