SHANE Warne, Michael Slater and even Sachin Tendulkar – the vast majority of cricketing greats have fallen victim to the nervous nineties.
And it is an illustrious club that Sheriff Hutton Bridge youngster Ed Barnes has now just joined.
Without a century in his nascent cricketing career, the 21- year-old was caught on 95 during Bridge’s win over Clifton Alliance, an agonising way to fall after his crafted knock.
