AUGUST might be dominated by the T20 Blast but, with a County Championship title race ongoing, this might just be Somerset’s biggest match of the month.
The West Country side are still chasing that elusive first title and four matches in a little over a month will define whether they can finally secure that Division One crown.
Essex are just four points ahead and their clash on the final week of the season is a mouth-watering prospect, with Somerset looking for a perfect finish to what could be a perfect season.
